Students only need a few basic items to begin learning drums. Most beginners start with drum sticks, a practice pad, and a metronome. A full drum set is not always needed to start. If you're unsure what equipment to buy, guidance can be provided so you don't have to guess. Many parents prefer to start simple and upgrade later as the student progresses.
